-Miscellaneous Forensics- -Website Information- |
Suggested Reading I myself have read many books related to forensic science and criminology. However I have found that not all books out there are reliable, as some are misleading or even contain incorrect information. Here I have posted a list of what I think are the best books if you wish to read anything related to forensic science. I have also given the author's name and a brief description.
Forensics: True Crime Scene Investigations by Zakaria Erzinclioglu - A fantastic, illustrated book covering all aspects of forensic science. (My Personal Favourite) Forensics for Dummies by D.P Lyle - A must-have book for beginners and a superb introduction to a fascinating subject. The Forensics Handbook by Pete Moore - The most up-to-date log of forensic techniques available. Maggots, Murder, and Men: Memories and Reflections of a Forensic Entomologist by Zakaria Erzinclioglu - A superb book covering the fascinating facts of entomology, written by an entomologist. Blood Dynamics by Anita Wonder - Though expensive to buy, an amazing book covering all aspects of bloodstain analysis and its methods. Death's Acre: Inside the Legendary "Body Farm" by Patricia Cornwall, Jon Jefferson and Bill Bass - A book all about Tennessee's Anthropology Research Facility.
